Trans*

When we say trans at Chameleons, we’re using the word ‘transgender’ as an umbrella term. There are lots of ways to be transgender. Not better or worse, just different.

Umbrella

You might identify as a crossdresser; as genderfluid, genderqueer, non-binary, or bigender; a transman, or a transwoman. Equally, it’s fine to not use a label and just be you. Labels don’t have to define us.

What if you’re not a direct part of the trans community? That’s okay too: allies, carers, and parents are welcome.

We believe that everyone is on their own path to find who they are. While we may have some similarities as people, we’re not all alike and that’s fine.

We hope that visiting Chameleons will help you find who you are and who you want to be.
